"Arctic Affair"

The story outline: "Thanks to S.H.A.D.O.’s early warning systems, most UFO’s never reach Earth’s atmosphere and are dealt with in space. If an alien craft does manage to elude Moonbase’s Interceptors, other S.H.A.D.O. Defence Systems are ready to take over the job. Sky 1, the jet aircraft that combines with the submarine Diver, is one of the most effective systems . . . "

Small World
COUNTDOWN 'Comic' UFO Story: "SMALL WORLD"

Story outline: "Commander Straker arrives at Moonbase to meet Dr. Joseph Brant, who has made a discovery that is so great he will not communicate it even on a top security channel. He shows Ed Straker a microscope and, on a slide, a living animal no bigger than a speck of dust.  However, a newly discovered lunar mineral-based drug is the breakthrough, and Dr. Brant would like to try it on a human volunteer, which only Commander Straker can authorise."
